Telling Chinese stories, developing Chinese culture The Spring Equinox of the 24 Solar Terms

At the spring equinox, the sun shines directly over the equator. Day and night are of equal length in the northern and southern hemispheres, while summer and winter are balanced. This day is also the midpoint of spring, which is why it is called the vernal equinox. At this time, the grass grows, the birds fly, the flowers bloom one after the other and spring has made its entrance.
