Review of the video exhibition last week

Since its launch on May 6, the “World tour” video exhibition, included in the “Walking to see the world” exhibition, has attracted extensive attention. Statistics show that by 11:00 on May 12, 922 people have read relevant articles from the following official accounts: Tongji University Library, the International School of Tongji University, Tongji University International Students Office, Tongji University International Cooperation and Exchange, and Tongji University Panda Talk.

627 people voted, and the 3 videos on display received a total of 689 votes. Among them, the video “My Encounter with China” shoot by Qian Xiuling from Malaysia received 479 votes, earning her the "Most Popular Award".

About the Exhibition

My story with China -- International student writing exhibition is the fourth series of the “Walking to See the World” exhibition.

6 writings were selected from 24 submissions from the perspective of professionalism and conception, and exhibited here with the author's authorization.

On November 8, 2012, "advocating the sense of a human community with a shared future" was formally proposed in the report on the 18th CPC National Congress. Since then, on many occasions at home and abroad, President Xi Jinping have repeatedly elaborated on the concept of a community with a shared future. From a country community, to a region community, and to a human community, the connotation of a community with a shared future has been enriched and extended, and China's proposition continues to be understood and recognized by the world.

Advocated by this idea, a group of international students who love Chinese culture came to China. What did they experience? What can they enlighten us?
