Since its launch on April 21, “Escape from the epidemic through painting and stick together” Painting Exhibition, included in the "Walking to See the World" Exhibition, has attracted extensive attention. Statistics show that by 11:00 on April 28, 1,563 people have read relevant articles from the following official accounts: Tongji University Library, Tongji University Students, Tongji University International Students Office, the International School of Tongji University, Tongji University International Cooperation and Exchange and Tongji University Panda Talk.

920 people voted, and the 11 paintings on display received a total of 1,841 votes. Among them, the painting "Eyes" by Qian Xiuling from Malaysia received 459 votes and won the "Most Popular Award" of the competition.

About the Exhibition

The beauty around me - photography exhibition of international and Chinese students is the second series of the “Walking to See the World” exhibition.

Judges selected 28 works out of 138 submissions from the perspective of professionalism and conception, and these works were exhibited here with the author's authorization.

By capturing the "beauty in life" with cameras, the students show the magic of nature to viewers, cherish the simple pleasures in ordinary life, narrate the love between people...... We can appreciate the charm of different regions and diverse civilizations worldwide, and think about the meaning of life through these photographs.
