On the evening of May 14, the finals of the 5th "Sound for You" German Film Dubbing Contest, jointly organized by the Chinese-German Institute and the German Library, was held as scheduled in the lecture hall on the second floor of the German Library. The theme was "Hotel Adlon". This competition invited Meng Guofeng, a teacher of the German Department, Doris Leber, a foreign teacher of the German Preparatory Department, and Deborah Schlimmbach, a foreign teacher of the Sino-German Institute as judges.

First of all, the two hosts introduced the main plot of the movie and explained the rules of the game. Then, the intense and interesting finals officially began.

After many days of preparation before the game, the contestants had a full understanding of the movie clips and demonstrated the personality traits of the movie characters outstandingly. And in the second session, the contestants were free to play and write film lines and dub them, and their discussions about love won rounds of applause. In addition, during the exciting competition, the interactive session of audience dubbing was also interspersed. The audience enthusiastically signed up and interpreted the film fragments according to their own understanding. Their wonderful performance won a lot of laughter.

After the fierce competition, scored by the judges and voted by the public, the results of the competition finally came out: Zhao Zhouzhou, Mao Beiyi, Cai Zhongyi, Liu Shijun, Hu Keer, Zhou Fangyi won the excellence awards, Feng Wanjing and Li Yulin won the third prize, and Li Zhoulin won the second prize. And the first prize was won by Li Muxi. In the acceptance speeches of the contestants, they expressed their keen interest in German and the various joys in the process of participating in the event.

In the future, the German Library will continue to uphold the international exchange concept of "Featured German Culture" and bring you more exciting activities. And all of you are welcomed to continue to actively participate in the series of activities held by the German Library in the future.
