At 3:00 pm on October 25, the traditional Chinese costume “Hanfu” experiential activity, hosted by the Sino-German Campus and the German Library of Tongji University, was successfully held in the lecture hall of the German Library. It was a great honor to invite Miss He from Hanzhiyin Chinese Culture Association, to introduce and demonstrate Hanfu, the traditional Chinese costume to students from German, China and Central Asia.

Ms He Started off by introducing the history and knowledge about Hanfu. After that, she led students to experience the etiquette of ancient China and played the archery game. All the students actively participated and enjoyed themselves. After the game, the students wore Hanfu, going up onto the stage, showing the charm of traditional costumes and themselves. Along with the elegant tune of Chinese lute, the activity came to an end.

"Be in China and cater to the world", we should pass on traditional culture knowledge of Hanfu and etiquette of ancient China, and better explore the connotation of Chinese culture. In the future, the German Library will continue to launch traditional Chinese culture experience activities for international students, and build up a platform of sharing, exchanging and innovating.
