NOTICE: Library Will Be Closed on May 30th, the Dragon Boat Festival

Due to the coming Dragon Boat Festival, which is a national holiday on May 30th (the fifth day of the fifth month according to the Chinese calendar), the Library will be closed for one day.

General Knowledge:

The Dragon Boat Festival, also called the Duanwu Festival, is a traditional Chinese holiday celebrated on the fifth day of the fifth month according to the Chinese calendar. The festival is to commemorate the famous ancient poet Quyuan, and people usually eat rice dumplings (Zongzi) on that day. It is best known for its dragon-boat races, especially in the southern places where there are many rivers and lakes.
